Decoration: on belly (top); tongues; on belly (side A); Apollo and Marpessa (remains); Apollo (right, remains: arm, chiton, himation, holding, bow, arrow, near); Euanos (crobylos, headband, beard, chiton, himation); Marpessa (sakkos, earring, chiton, himation, near); Idas (crobylos, crown: leaf, beard, chiton, himation, belt, holding, arrow, holding, bow) on belly (side B); conversation scene (remains); man (himation, leaning on, stick); young man (2, himation, holding, garland, 1, ?) on belly (bottom); meander (including, crosspiece) Condition of the work: This stamnos is composed of: 5 fragments from the Louvre Cp 10834; 2 fragments from the Louvre Cp 10838; a fragment Cp 10837 (hand); the fragment on deposit NY 1985.201.2 which is integrated into cp 10834 and which gives the head of Apollo; 14 fragments given to the Louvre in 1987 by Robert Guy (ex Tchacos) and inventoried in 2021 in RFML.AGER.2021.0.3 give part of a handle and details of the characters on face A and B; other fragments are kept in Florence (19 b 41); a second fragment deposited by New York, NY 1985.60.2, gives a male head on face B. Some fragments are glued back together
